Family and Environment Research is the official research journal of the Korean Home Economics Association. The tradition of excellence in this peer-reviewed scientific journal, established in 1959, continues today. The Korean Home Economics Association aims to stimulate research and practice across broad areas of home economics. The journal publishes peer-reviewed original manuscripts dealing with home economics issues from the fields of food and nutrition, clothing and textiles, children and families, family resources and consumption, and housing. The journal is published bimonthly.
Year of launching and frequency
The first issue of Family and Environment Research [formerly known as the Journal of the Korean Home Economics Association, ISSN 1225-0937(Print), ISSN 2234-2818(Online)] was published in November 1959. The journal continued as the Journal of the Korean Home Economics Association until April 2013. The journal title has been changed and now Family and Environment Research [ISSN 2288-3541(Print), ISSN 2288-355X(Online)] is published bimonthly. The publication dates are the last days of February, May, August, November.
